A LITTLE ABOUT US ...
Dennis earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Grand Valley State
University and has been the Band Director and Fine Arts Department Chair for
Maple Valley Schools for the past 28 years. He will finish his Masters Degree in
Curriculum Instruction and Assessment in April, 2012.
Trudy earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University
and retired from Clinton-Eaton-Ingham Community Mental Health. She is now
employed at Bull Creek Veterinary Service.
We both enjoy Team Penning and Team Sorting through the RSNC. We recently
rode in the State Championships for Michigan and were excited to be in the top 5
in the State in the Rookie (Trudy) and Masters (Dennis) divisions. We traveled to
Oklahoma in June of 2011 for the Ranch Sorting National Championships and had
a great time and brought home a little money !! We have each tried our hand at
barrel racing and camp/trail ride once in a while.
Its fun getting to know our boarders, hosting our Barrel Shows and Open Ride
nights. So excited about our up and coming performance horses "Sophie" &
"Teal" and can't wait until they are ready to go. Our six dogs (Candy, Pete, Max,
Cugo, Ringo & Skeeter) rule our home.
